Janey's News

Blog Jan.10th, 07

Martina McBride’s song, “Anyway” reminds us we might not feel as if God’s hearing, but we pray anyway. Every year at O.F. we don’t know if we’ll have enough money to provide thousands of needy children with Christmas gifts. But we commit anyway. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do.

Here’s the thing. Mark Schultz sings an even more awesome song called, “He’s My Son”. We wonder if God hears when we pray for our child so we remind God; “He’s not anyone, he’s my son.” In other words, this isn’t a little prayer for a little someone. This is a big, important prayer for someone desperately important—my son.

The Orphans First heartbeat is that the children we try to reach are all “our sons, our children”. They are top priority and as we pray we remind God that they are also His.
The results: MIRACLES. Thank you for any part you played in helping Orphans First provide Christmas gifts for suffering children everywhere.

Please stop by again soon as I hope to update my blog with new pix. And I have some wonderful books to recommend. Visit soon.

Gratefully,
Janey
